Our History

The Monte Hermón Christian School was founded in 2001, by pastor Daniel Aragon and his wife Darling Hueck, with the support of a brother from the mother church, Centro de Fe y Vida Nueva – Center of Faith and New Life. Many children in the community were unable to read or write, therefore unable to read the Bible in our Sunday Christian School. It was because of this urgent need the school was started.  We began to work in the home of Alberto Vasquez, a member of Cedro Galan community. One a year later a missionary came to see the conditions in which these children received classes. The missionary told the pastor he would provide the money for the construction of the first three classrooms if the pastor would donate a piece of his land .

Today, Monte Hermón Christian School has 12 classrooms, a small library, the principal’s office, an accountant office, and a kitchen.

We have a total of 196 students, 14 teachers and 3 administrative personnel.
